Mission Statement/Creed

Mission Statement

 

Career Education Clubs of Florida, Inc. was established to :

 

· Promote the educational and civic programs for students involved in Diversified Cooperative Training (DCT).

· Provide scholarships for students involved in DCT and CECF.

· Develop leadership and work proficiency for members.

· Provide opportunities for members to compete and further enhance the skills they learn in DCT and CECF

· Improve the spirit of cooperation among students, parents, and school personnel with their business community partners.

· Recognize members for their outstanding accomplishments.

· Implement curricular activities which promote a better understanding of cooperative career and technical education.

· Assist in the development of club members through job related experiences and promoting in-depth probes of high skill/high wage careers.

· Provide state leadership activities that assist members in their social growth and to recognize outstanding group activities that contribute to the betterment of the community.

· Coordinate the combined  activities of the local clubs in the implementation of the above stated objectives.

 

 

Creed

 

 

I believe in the eternal light of knowledge, for knowledge is a never ceasing process…

the light shines eternally.

 

I believe in the olive branch, which represents success and achievement, in moving up in the world into leadership through service to my school, my home, my community, my chosen vocation, and my fellow man.

 

I believe in the book of learning, the contents of which depends upon my desire to learn and the ambitions within me.

 

I believe in the writings of wisdom, composed by people of all times, and carried out by tradition.  It depends upon my generation to carry on these traditions.

 

These symbols represent the ideals and goals which I strive to fulfill.
